Terms and Conditions of Service

Mindful Organizing performs professional organizing services at fees as detailed in the Organizing Services page of this website. Payment is due in advance to hold the appointment.

Packages are available at discounted rates.

With your permission, I may include photos and/or testimonial in marketing materials; your confidentiality is always maintained!

Cancellations - I have set aside this time just for you. I understand that people get sick and emergencies happen, so the more notice you can give me the better. If I can fill the slot I won't charge the fee. Otherwise, 50% of the booked session rate will be charged if the session is cancelled within 25-48 hours of the scheduled service; 100% if cancelled within 24 hours. Rescheduled pre-paid sessions need to take place within three months of the originally scheduled session.

See specific terms below for Virtual and Onsite Organizing sessions.

I look forward to working with you, and helping you achieve your organizing and productivity goals!

Virtual Organizing

Prices include prep time and a comprehensive session summary emailed after our session. Prices quoted on the Organizing Services page are for one-hour sessions. Longer sessions may be scheduled according to availability.

Additional charges: Hourly rate (and mileage, if appropriate) for researching organizing items and productivity tools on your behalf.

Onsite Organizing

Prices quoted on the Organizing Services page are for three-hour sessions. Longer sessions may be scheduled according to availability.

Additional charges:

• A 1-hour round trip is free. You’ll receive an invoice in advance for additional travel time - based on Google Maps - at my standard hourly rate in 1/4-hr increments.

• Hourly rate and mileage for researching or shopping for organizing items or furniture off-site

Not included: cleaning or hauling away garbage.

I have a policy of not accepting client cast-offs. I can help you find appropriate places to donate or consign items.

Please remove and secure firearms and other private personal items from work areas in advance.

Other policies

I may make suggestions regarding procurement and/or retention of legal, financial, and accounting documents to expedite the organizing process, however all final decisions regarding these documents should be made by your personal CPA, Attorney or Financial Advisor.

I hold professional liability insurance, which also covers breakages and other damages.

I am a member of the National Association of Productivity & Organizing Professionals (NAPO) and am bound by their Code of Ethics. I respect your confidentiality and will not share details unless there’s a risk of harm to yourself or others.
